THE MASONS ARMS COVID-19 PROCEDURE

To ensure everyone’s safety during the pandemic and keep in line with the governments restrictions we have conducted a Covid-19 Risk assessment, as a result of our findings we have compiled a list of what procedures we have in place to keep customers and colleagues safe:

  • We have a one way system in place. You’ll only be able to enter the pub from the front door. Here you’ll have to wait in the porch for a member of staff to greet you and show you to your table. You’ll exit via the back door in the bar.
  • Hand sanitiser stations are positioned at various points. Staff will point these out to you on arrival. We would politely ask you to use these when entering the building and prior to using the toilets.
  • Our bar toilets will be for gents to use only and ladies will use the lounge toilets. We have a sign outside each toilet door to be flipped when using the toilet to maintain social distancing.
  • It will be table service only inside. Unfortunately we won’t be able to have anyone stood at the bar. Just sit back, relax and let the staff do all the running around for you. If you’re sitting outside please come to the bar via the front porch, standing well back and let the staff know your order. We’ll serve you there and kindly ask you to return outside once served.
  • All staff will have a health check before the start of every shift.
  • Tables and chairs will be cleaned between customer sittings.
  • Our till screens and card machine will be sanitised between uses.
  • We will regularly sanitise all contact areas
  • Our menus are wipeable and will be sanitised between uses. Alternatively you can view our menu on our Facebook page and website if you’d prefer.
  • Both our inside and outside tables will be 2 metres apart. Some are 1 metre, but this is only where the customers will be sitting back to back.
  • Cutlery and condiments will be provided once your food has been ordered.
  • Staff will maintain social distancing when taking orders and delivering food and drink.
  • Card payment if possible, but cash will be accepted.
  • Please if you or anyone in your household is showing symptoms of Covid-19 self isolate and we’ll happily re-arrange you booking
